'The module has two main aims. First it examines some
of the key processes involved in creating and managing a networked
learning service/environment. This includes some of the more
complex design and development issues, but also pedagogical
techniques for successful on-line teaching and CMC moderation.
Secondly, it offers a chance to review some of the recent
literature on networked learning, looking especially at learners'
experiences of networked learning, learning outcomes, and
effective and less effective organisational strategies.'
